At least we're going to get a new coach.

BTW - I think Cannon is *way* better than Garlick; He's quicker, stronger, and has a much better boot. Why wasn't he inserted after the (now worthless) mid season run ended? Finishing winless in 8 games (2 playoffs) is not a Good Thing (tm)*.

Hanki is such an idiot, how can he possibly remain?

    Sheesh.

Hankinson was good with the Mutiny, and was a potential coach of the year candidate this year during your great run mid season.

He did pull a "Steve Sampson" and make a major change at the worst possible time (i.e cutting Harkes/benching Garlick).

Sometimes coaches outthink themselves, and in this case, it cost you guys.

Only question is, I don't know that anyone out there is better.

Maybe give him another year to learn from that mistake.

Garlick did finish last in the league in goals against! But also tied for first in shutouts....

It was a good series, and very even all the way.

I'd take a coach that is a proven winner from the college level. I think that there are plenty of hungry coaches out there that could outcoach Hankinson.

He's got to go now. No doubt about it.

You mean like Tom Fitzgerald...whom apparently was dismissed by the Crew, but ends up taking UCLA to one championship last year and has the highest-rated team again this year?
