Just one player out of that lot is not British (I knew Whitbread is a US citizen, but he qualifies for England). And Semmi, Welsh, Raven, Kirkland and Butler all have an outstanding chance of making into first team action within the next two to three years. The Academy is doing very well.
That's cool, but it doesn't change the fact that he remains eligible for England. I don't expect him to do a Hargreaves on you, mind.

Reserve Match Report from the excellent www.lfc365.com website:- Liverpool Res 0 - Man Utd Res 1 "A single goal from Daniel Nardiello condemned Liverpool's second string to defeat at the hands of Manchester United's reserves in Chester tonight. Hughie McAuley fielded a youthful side with only Chris Kirkland in goal and John Welsh in midfield having any first team experience. Frenchman Carl Medjani was restored to the side at central defence while Jon Otsemobor was back in action after recovering from a bullet to the backside. Medjani and Zak Whitbread linked up well together at centre back in a game dominated by tough defending. Darren Potter also had a good game despite being out of position. Scottish youth international Robbie Foy had his moments in the match but they where few and far between. Being honest, United probably just deserved their victory as they where much the better side in the second half. They took the lead with 15 minutes to go moments after Potter went close to putting Liverpool in front. Nardiello was put through by David Jones and finished superbly past Chris Kirkland who otherwise had a decent 90 minute run out. But it was a disappointing night all round for McAuley's men.
