FYI... Bill Clinton was here in Monterey the day Clark declared his candidacy. He was here for an event hosted by his former chief of staff, Leon Panetta. The event (a Q&A with Panetta & audience) was shown on local cable. Clinton said that he was not going to endorse any of the candidates at this time, but (paraphrasing) that Clark would be a qualified candidate if he ran. That's about it.
