29 is prime time for a striker - if he can stay healthy, I would imagine he could have his best season ever. He certainly has a tremendous supporting cast - he only lacks someone to whip in a few crosses from time to time...

Their styles are too similar. A bit like what I think will happen if Brazil try to play Ronaldo and Adriano upfront at the next WC.

Yeah, that may be a small thing in their favour. I think you agree though, it's a pity they're so similar. Their reputations and ability will no doubt lead to them both playing, although IMO they should play with Robinho and one of them (actually I'd pick Adriano, he's amazing and is much more committed and active on the pitch than 'the great mass')
id hate to turn this into a brazil thread, but i think Adriano's over reliance on his left foot will hurt Brazil in the WC if they start him as their only pure striker. Ronaldo's willingness and effectiveness with both feet from just about anywhere within 25ish yards is what makes him the best choice for me... he allows Robinho and Ronaldinho to play anywhere, wheras w/ Adriano, they have to be concious to play the ball and move in a way that allows adriano to shoot with his left.
