Well, I wont be bringing my ipod into work anymore. If you have a yahoo email account (even a fake one, like me), you MUST start using this radio system. Pretty much you can pick your own artists to play and you can rate them. So let's say you choose Grateful Dead. You can rate them highly (get it, high?) so they'll get played more. Also, when sh!t comes on, like Aerosmith for example, you can tell the player to never play them ever again. You can search for artists to throw into your mix. You can rate albums and songs, so even if you don't like one song but still love the band, you can tell yahoo to never play that song again. It's awesome. The more you listen, the more you refine what you like, the better your station gets. Oh and it's FREE!
It's not supported for higher versions of Mac software (OSX), but accepts lower versions. Won't support use in Netscape/Safari.
then it's crap! plus, I don't want to spend all day rating songs. I'd rather listen to my ipod where every song is already one that I like. just one man's opinon.
I used to use it at my old job, I loved it. That way I wasn't fiddling around with CDs and looking like a complete slacker.
I used to use Yahoo Launchcast a couple of years ago. It was pretty good. But then they put a limit on the amount of radio you could listen to a month. After a set period you couldn't listen to your station anymore. They would then just play pop crap. Anyways, since I've had my iPod there is no need for internet radio anymore
my bro said this has a better selection http://music.channel.aol.com/radioguide/bb.adp edit: this also doesnt support firefox but will next month
