Cam-thuggery? Busch is trying to punch a ball in traffic in no-man's land that's about a foot or two off the ground, and punching the ball is usually an acknowledgement that you know people are coming at you. Weaver is trying to beat Busch to a ball Busch is not even trying to catch. He wasn't elbowing someone off the ball violently, he was sliding for a loose ball.
Agree..it was an accident..no intention to hurt Busch..he was going for the ball.. glad Busch is alright.. On another subject - Bye Pat Onstad..thank for the good time and bad time..it time to hang the glove up and let the younger guy have a shot on it.
I would certainly hope he was not going deliberately for Busch's head. However, I still think it was still a very dangerous play because Cam was coming at him from the side and completely blindsided Busch. As far as Hainault's handball...it is pretty incredible that nothing was called, and everybody is pretty outraged about that. Although if the ref is not even going to issue a yellow card for Cam's dangerous play, it's not surprising he wouldn't have issued a red for anything else. Oh well, what's done is done. Life goes on.
And yet...SJ is in the playoffs and Houston got eliminated a couple of weeks ago. No complaints here.
Wow, I don't have one of those on my screen. Either the yellow/red card, or the gunsight. Pretty cool. Let him talk, he's sorta annoying, but we don't get much of that any more. Even the other fans don't care about us much this year.
Got it. Sorry, I guess I did start out with a mean remark repeating the word someone had used in a previous post referring to your team, but some of the ensuing replies by your posters were just as ornery, while others were intelligent discourse. So I offer my apologies if were offended or insulted. I didn't think it amounted to trolling- I've seen a lot worse on BS. Over and out.
It was nowhere near the goal, certainly doesn't meet the qualifications for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity. Probably should have been a yellow, but should not have been called in real time, as SJ had an advantage. Intentionally handling the ball is not a red card offense, no matter what the SJ commentator believes.
good point-I was thinking he was the last guy back (Can't remember)-but I was thinking that if hadn't done that they would have a questionable goal scoring chance-granted it was out on the wing, so that was unlikely-so true, should have been a yellow.
