    It’s 3rd Division.

I had 17 goals as a CM in my mixed league last year. It’s a Under 30/league that requires every team to have at least 3 girls on the team. Maybe call me up. I am pretty tall too. 3rd Division any country isn’t worth following.

Even 2nd division in a non top 5 league doesn’t seem worth mentioning. I doubt the Croatian 1st Division is better then our 1st. So no team in Colombia/Croatia 1St/2nd Division wanted to give this kid a shot. Until he proves otherwise he was just media hype

USA football is a joke. And if I feel like keeping this thread up to date I Will. If you don't want to read It then don't. I do the same with players in Spain and other guys you don't give a damn about.

This kid just extra frustrating because they were linking him to Barca/Juve earlier on his career and now he isn’t good enough for America de Cali or 2nd division Croatia.

Marlos was actually good. He and Quintero are the biggest disappointments for me

I didnt get so dissapointed with quintero.....before he was brilliant in u-20.....he was failing in italy with bad comments by his coach about his attitude. main factor

Marlos dissapointed me more, because he proved in libertadores and even in wcq that he was for ompettitve football.....

Actually in girona he have been unfair erased by his coach....because the times he played he played well.

maybe spain wasnt a good chocie for his adaptation...maybe italy or france woild be better....in spain you have to pass quickly the ball

not enough space for him in italy his speed doesnt do much. He better off to me going to 2nd division England. His speed there would be great and he can adapt to their country and style. He will never be a Man city player tho

Quintero was crazy hyped like he would bench Macnelly....... didnt do it. Went to Italy to a crappy team to replace Veratti who went to PSG. He had some pretty nice goals but again didnt do all that much Porto after all their success with Colombians drops 5 million on him... then he does enough to trick them into paying another 5 million. They have never touched or sniffed at a colombian since :)

Quintero is down to a lack of ambition and he is just the typical sterotypical lazy ass South America #10 that died a long long time ago and Riquelme gave some hope they would return. I thank god for James because if he wasn't Colombian we would be stuck with Quintero as our starting #10 or even worse .... his shittier lazier giant brother Gio Moreno

That's what happens when you give credibility to rumours, Sherman Cardenas wanted by Real Madrid, Cardona wanted by Chelsea, Fabra to Atletico de Madrid, Cuadrado and Zuniga wanted by Barcelona, Angel wanted by Manchester United, Quintero wanted by Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter and so on and so forth... They are just headlines made to get clicks or sell newspapers.

He just made the move to the roster of NK Osijek, that has a team in the 1.NHL, the first division of Croatian football. He will start in the second team but if he does well he will be in the first team soon. He showed in six months that has the level to be playing at least a division higher.

so he'll be in the top flight in Croatia?

I still have hope for Marlos personally, I think he needs a bit more luck than he's had.

When you compare a player to Tino Asprilla and sent off to europe bought by Man. City you have high expectations and pressure. Too young way too young. Colombian players arent simply good at adapting.

every fast black colombian player is the next Asprilla easy way to hype someone up

I think what Marlos did with Nacional was incredible ! You can say anything about a player who wrecks the league and be like our league isn't good. But he was wrecking teams internationally made our NT and with very limited minutes was making impact. Not sure if it went to his head or he just having a super hard time adapting but he still young enough to recover. Hopefully he leaves spain.

The croatian kid America de Cali FKd him. Shocked no team in Colombia gave him a shot. Just disappointed he went to 3rd division Croatia !!! that is insane. He is doing very well but 3rd division are barely semi pro

Quintero is def lack of ambition didnt he put out a fking MUSIC CD !!

The only thing I've seen you write this year that makes any sense. Marlos has been very unlucky, first he played for Deportivo, a team that sucked balls and only survived because the teams that were demoted were pathetic. And now Girona is a team that doesn't use wingers, it plays a 3-4-2-1 ala Tottenham or a 3-5-2, were he doesn't have a place, not big or clinical enough to be a striker nor tactically prepared to track back as a offensive midfielder in that formation. Hopefully in Brazil he finds the support he needs to thrive.
