I doubt Legia would lose to them. Hopefully they could upset Barca and go to the Champions League! : )
Marcin's bad timing Marcin Mieciel has decided to leave Legia Warszawa for Greek side Iraklis FC earlier than planned. 'Perfect place' The 26-year-old striker leaves just a day before Legia's UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie against FK Vardar. A victory over the two legs would see the Polish side take on FC Barcelona in the next round. "I'd love to play at the Camp Nou," Mieciel said. "But I've asked a few Polish players in Greece about the league there and my new club and I think Iraklis is the perfect place to improve myself." Early date Mieciel joined UEFA Cup contenders Iraklis for a fee of €400,000 and signed a one-year contract worth €180,000. The player had previously agreed to join the Greek club, who finished sixth last season to qualify for Europe, during the winter break when his contract with Legia ends, but Mieciel and Legia have decided to part company earlier. Three caps Mieciel, who spent last year on loan at Borussia Mönchengladbach, has been capped three times for Poland, scoring his only international goal in in a 2-2 draw with Cyprus in 1996.
