    Well, I guess it makes sense if he's going to miss matches due to the elbowing incident (plus anything he sees from the book/Haaland/etc incident).

    Butt and Michael Stewart get their chance to step to the forefront. Djordic also, perhaps.

    if there's any time off from FIFA for the book wouldn't it be assessed after return from the injury leave?

    I assume you mean the FA and not FIFA.

    That depends on when everything happens. If the trial and judgemnt happen next week, then no. Suspensions are served 2 weeks after they are handed out. Right now they are waiting for the book to be released before any further action is taken.

    he was going to put it off...but with present conditions of his head i tihnk it was wise to make it now. Also he misses boro match. Last time we won when he never played...same again boys!

    Since Keane was just charged by the FA, there is no way (barring a miracle of God) that he will be healthy before he must serve his punishment.

    I hope the FA suspends him for 2 years - or better for life. And he should be criminally charged.

    What a despicable human being!
