    Welcome, Juventino!

You have excellent taste in picking teams. Soccer in the U.S. is growing - it's already the sport played by the most young people here. MLS is a big part of that growth, and of course, the Galaxy are one of the premier teams of MLS. It also helps that the U.S. mens national team has steadily improved.
Soccer fans here are not always easy to spot, though a jersey is often a big give-away, some of the people who sport a jersey from a European team aren't as open-minded as you seem to be. They scorn MLS. But more and more are giving it a chance and realizing it's a pretty good league that's getting better every day. The thing is, since soccer fans here have to choose to follow the sport even when the media is busy covering other sports, they tend to be more serious fans, instead of just casual bandwagon types. Hang out on BigSoccer for a while, you'll get to know us. And come see a Galaxy game - the stadium is gorgeous.

Earthquake Fan is like that awkward 12-year old boy who is always hanging around the girl and making fun of her, even though in reality he has a huge crush on her.

Just admit that you're in love with the Galaxy and stop acting like a fool...

Nah. I'm with TJ. Picking on Earthquakefan is just way too low-hanging fruit. The grown-ups should be here shortly, unless they're still too busy chanting, drumming and burning incense trying to save their team.
