Heather, if you read this, You did a great job covering the cup, but I think people are so bummed out about the league folding, and not seeing you play they didnt feel like posting. Personally you should have been on the team. That lame @$% excuse about your injury being the deciding factor for your not making the team is horse hockey!! Heinricks took two players who were injured all season !!! Look forward to seeing you play next year!!! KSP
It was a textbook double standard. Heinrichs didn't have any room for a player who had recovered from a broken leg, whose playing time increased with each successive game. Yet she had no problem taking not only Slaton and MacMillan, but Hucles and Chastain as well. I didn't have a problem at all with Heather's work, and her honesty during halftime of the Germany/Argentina game where she pointed out the depth problems that we would face in the later rounds needed to be said. Screw the naysayers, Heather - for your first major national TV gig, you did fine. Paul
