Real Madrid play tomorrow to win the first title of the year, The UEFA Super Cup. In this game play the CL's winner against the UEFA's cup winner.

This year the Real Madrid play against the Feyenoord.

This title is the only important title that the Real Madrid hasn't won yet. The players are very motivated to win this first title.

    Possible line-up:

    --------------- Cesar
    Salgado----Hierro---Helguera----Roberto Carlos
    Figo-------Makelele--Cambiaso
    -------------------Zidane
    -----------Morientes?----Raul

? They are rumours that Morientes can not play, if finally sign with the totenham. If he don't play Portillo will play in his position.

The game like in the last years will played in Monaco at 20:45 european central time.

    Campeones, Campeones, oe, oe, oe!!!

    First title of the year!!!

    Real Madrid - 3 - Feyenoord - 1

    Goals:

    Real Madrid:
    1-0 Paauwe (pp) 14:02
    2-0 Roberto Carlos 21:17
    3-1 Guti 60:08

    Feyenoord:
    2-1 Van Hooijdonk 55:52

    Real Madrid:

    --------Casillas
    Salgado---Hierro------Helguera---------Roberto Carlos
    Figo------Cambiasso (Pavon 87') ---Makelele
    -----------------Zidane (Solari 85')
    ------------Raul----Guti (Portillo 71')

RM played expectacular the first 30 minutes. You must see the Roberto Carlos's goal, is a great goal. After that the RM played more relaxed. The Feyenoord take advantage of that and they had some opportunities before they make their goal by a great free-kick of Van hooidonk. Then the Real began to play again with more speed and Guti made the definitive goal with a great assist of Figo.

Well, seems that the team has started well the year.

Interesting things that happened around the game:

Morientes finally didn't play. Seems that he has a 99% to leave the team - in the Ronaldo operation or in other.

Solari played - thank you Del Bosque. That means that the RM won't sell him.

The players weren't happy about all the rumours before the game and mainly with the Morientes situation. The players in a great gesture called Morientes, celades and Miñambres that saw the game in the tribune to receive the thophy with them in the field and to be in the Champion's picture.

After the game Florentino Perez was speaking until 3 a.m with the team's captain - Hierro - and Morientes about the Morientes situation.

We will see what happen in the next hours.

    To Administrators:

    Whoa! Great game!

Real Madrid playes just the way I like, attack soccer with lots of passing.
The best: Roberto Carlos, Cambiasso and Guti.
    Dissappointed me: Raul.

I'm glad, too that Solari doesn't go.
