Dude shut up with that hooligan crap. Yeah, like that's what MLS really needs. Learn something from Jamison and realize that to be a good supporter, you don't need to act with violence. Even if there was a fight, I don't think the numbers would've been in the ESC's favor.

Jamison, I'm glad someone was there to hold back the few Metro fans that were willing to get into a fight. Sounds like it could've gotten really ugly. Kudos.

Yeah, it's ok to go troll in the DC boards and sound like an idiot. It's not a question about whether or not YOU get violent at games. But making it sound like it's ok for stupid incidents to happen is just stupid. Hell, if you're gonna go rejoice about an incident that could've gotten ugly, why don't you grab your balls and go jump into the action?

NYR Metro: What is it about fans knocking the piss out of each other that gives you a chubby? If you are just an all talk and no action type of guy GIVE IT A REST. I doubt I'm speaking just for myself when I say I'm sick of your useless posts. Why don't you try posting some insight into the team once in a while?

    NYR Metros:

Listen you prepubescent little twit. Don't get overjoyed at the thought of soccer violence.........from behind your f-ing computer. And do us all a favor and cut the pseudo english speak: mate, fixture, firm, etc.

    Dr. Kevorkian

p.s. I really think that NYR Metros is nothing but a shill for Big Soccer. No one has made me want to pay for that ignore user feature more than him

I'm glad no one got hurt. This whole incident was stupid (on both sides) and I'm not thrilled that DC fans were up there provoking you guys. It seems to happen every time you come down and that's something we don't need.

NYR Metros, just shut up. We don't need fights among supporter clubs, but we need twats who don't attend matches egging on fights even less. I bet you're the type of kid who shoots a spitball at the school bully and then points to another kid and says "He did it!"

Fighting between supporter groups would be the worst thing that could happen to MLS. Besides personal injuries, it would doom the league and bring fear to other fans.

Provocative cross-chanting at close quarters will inspire some beer-brave characters to crawl out of their lives of cowardice for a moment of courage.

Keep the supporter groups apart, put security near the visitors, and everyone abide by the concept of "let the better team win".

It was unfortunate that stuff got out of hand after the tying goal. At the half, I went up to get a coke and stopped by the ESC section and shook hands with a few Metro supporters, thanking them for coming down. MLS needs support like that and the SE's, who headed up to the Swamp Thursday.

I just thought of a fabulous idea. A charity boxing match, proceeds split between both supporter's clubs.

Anyone from DC vs NYR Metros.

It would be nice for the fans, we can all cheer for the same side for a change...:p. I know a couple of Metro guys who would pay to watch him take a couple in the noggin, even if it was a DC guy doin' the business.

Seriously man, this statement says it all:

As mentioned, we don't need the DC-Metro rivalry to turn into Millwall every match. And if you aren't even going to be there to put your sack on the line and fight, don't pick one for someone else to finish.

Your right. But what happened to the NYC Firm ? there used to be a flag at section 101 with this Firm name on it for many years.

lets face it, it was handbags at 20 paces, the security had it well under control.

MLS could do worse than organise some effective segregation then you can chant and whoop as much as you want with no danger of retribution.
