It’s the first game of the Gold Cup and Bruce Arena’s Yankee Army heads to the left coast to take on Cuba in Seattle.

Nathan Hale’s will be open and soccer will be on the ‘Tube (there is an event going on concurrently, but we’ll be able to watch). There will be beer specials on tap, so show up and support NY’s only US Soccer Bar. We encourage you to get out, stay up late & head over to Hale’s for the game. Just a 5 minute walk to the PATH train (WTC stop) and within 10 minutes of half the subway lines in Manhattan.

    2. Saturday, July 9th, USA v. Canada Gold Cup and Metro v. LA Galaxy

It’s another epic parking lot tailgate TV fest this Saturday, July 9th. The USA plays Canada in Gold Cup, game 2, live this Saturday at 4:45 pm.

“You’re not playing Hockey over there….
You’re not playing Hockey over there….
    You’re not playing Hockey
    You’re not playing Hockey
You’re not playing Hockey over there….”

(okay, neither are we, but they’re the only ones that notice).

BTW, the Meadowlands Fair is in town. This means tons of whining 9 year olds and really bad latino cover bands playing live music at the Nestle Milo Tent.

But, it also means that parking is only $ 3.

BE ADVISED, LOT 16 WILL BE CLOSED AND LOT 18 IS RESERVED FOR FAIR PARKING. ALL METRO PARKING WILL BE ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE STADIUM, BETWEEN GIANTS STADIUM AND THE RACE TRACK.

    Here’s your day:

Meet up in Lot 8, 4:30pm, near gate B

Tailgate/Cookout AND match viewing live on TV of USA v. Canada at 4:45 PM

USA Game ends @ 6:45PM, we keep drinking.

    Metro game is at 8PM

We look forward to seeing you there, and remember to be on the NORTH side of the stadium. Note, Gate C will still be selling Metro tickets to section 101.

It’s the final game of the first round, and the US will take on CONCACAF rivals Costa Rica live from Foxboro, MA at 7:05pm, Tuesday, July 12th.

There will be beer specials on tap, food galore & bartenders ripe for the tipping, so show up and support NY’s only US Soccer Bar.

We encourage everyone to stop by after work, grab some dinner and watch the US looks to move into the second round.
