Zlatan deal was pretty expensive. Barca paid Eto'o and 20 ME+. And only club where he could have earned more was probably City, but they were not in CL and pretty much current NU stage. PSG were not under Qatar then. Barca made Zlatan one of the highest paid in the world. RM and Barca were the biggest spenders those days.
The trading of the players inflated the actual fee - which is probably at Minos doing. It only cost 20 million, for actual money from Barca’s perspective and Eto was a goner anyway. not to get this off topic, with the reference to Zlatan, it’s more about Mino will get the player what he wants. if Haaland wants to come here he will. Mino will make it happen. That’s my hope is Flo works Haaland to come here.
Shipped a player a club I was in contact with to a club in the middle east despite the player being excited to play for them. Players trust their agents more than their doctors. Donnaruma is stuck at PSG, dumb ass decision, but hey im sure that's what he wanted.
Mino gets these players what they want; whether that is more money or getting to a specific club they had no realistic chance to get in. Shit I wish I had an agent as good as him repping me when I played.
📝🇫🇷 Real Madrid are ready to offer Pogba an annual salary of €14m/year with a signing bonus of €30m - Mino Raiola is also pushing for the move to happen. @abc_es— Infinite Madrid (@InfiniteMadrid) October 15, 2021 🇫🇷 Pogba is ready to say yes to Real Madrid, if they make an offer. @marca— Infinite Madrid (@InfiniteMadrid) October 16, 2021
His list is top heavy but beyond a certain point it's absolute duds only. Macheda playing in Greece by now after moving about 237 times.
We wont getting Haaland because we will get Mbappe. Impossible them both to play in same team at this point. Maybe someday later/
He will have A LOT OFFers, im prety sure he will find the way. Even City, they can match his demanding salary.
Not my view, my thought is based on the high salaries of Pogba, Mbappe and Rudiger if we happen to get them all i'm not sure we can afford to then pay for and pay Haaland, but that's just a feeling not a fact, who knows what players will come in, let's see what decisions are made by the club other than Mbappe
Yea. Bale (17 ME), Isco (7 ME), Modric (9.5 ME) and Marcelo (8 ME) leaving means wage bill won't be that much higher than 2016-17 when we had the deepest team in Europe. We can afford Mbappe, Haaland, Pogba and Rudiger imo with 3 of them coming via bosman deal. I hope City goes for Kane again which will increase our chances of getting Haaland. Pep needs to continue to be stubborn regarding Raiola.
I don’t like this. Paying a completely over the top salary for a player who is 29 and has had wildly inconsistent form for multiple consecutive seasons. The France form is not enough imo.
Indeed, he certainly hasn't been able to make Manure any better with any real consistency, IMO the really good players can lift the team and the players around them, like Benz has done for us of late, wouldn't be top of my list but we'll see what transpires
No one in Real Madrid is going to pay for Pogba or Rudiger if it means we can't afford Haaland. If Haaland doesn't come here, it's for other reasons. Don't think money will be an issue. It's Mbappe then Haaland.
Im with you on this. Just doesn’t move the needle for me, especially at his age. If he does come, we would need to play him up and use his touches/passing near the box and shooting ability. Wouldn’t want him in a double pivot at all.
Really has been misused at United given their inability to fill that CDM role. That said, expected him to do better still given all his quality.
To those whose saying tha Pogba is the midfieldfer we need. Be prepared to be disappointed if ever he comes.
