    Good article about the kid.

How long has this kid been in the UK? Now, I've never heard the kid speak before, but I ask that question because it appears that he talks very much like an English teenager rather than an American teenager! Is he a young, midfielder version of Brad Friedel?

My son trialed at Stoke and met Denny earlier this year... Jay has been with them since he was 14, and apparently left Los Angeles as a very young child, and has never played soccer in the US aside from his national team duties. He speaks with a completely English accent, naturally due to growing up there, and I believe his parents are English.
