Nan Yong, vice president of the China Football Association, has been elected as the board chairman of the China Super League Company.

The decision was announced Wednesday at a meeting presented by all shareholders of the company.

Lang Xiaonong, director of the CFA's competition department joins the other five to become directors of the company. Two more directors will be elected at the next meeting. The company was founded two months ago in Beijing, with CFA became the biggest shareholder.

The main goals of CSL Ltd are to promote the image of the CSL, attract more sponsors and increase revenue streams for clubs. The board will consist of seven members: 3 club presidents, 2 CFA officials and 2 independent directors. According to reports, CFA vice president Nan Yong will be the first chariman of CSL Ltd.
