@ Estadio Ciudad de Lanus. Who the hell is that enormous lard ass on the back line? He's wearing a training kit so he must be part of the team. GK of the future? Ale Irraragori with Enzo Francescoli of River Plate. Better be sharing youth development info. A small group of fans already set for the match in Buenos Aires. Looks like the footage was shot in the late 90's Hey Oswaldo, what are your thoughts on tonight's match....wait, NOBODY GIVES A SHIT. What do you think Darwin? Peep @santista101 super excited for tonight's game. http://instagram.com/p/mqtDRdkFG5/
Ahh yes, our medical staff. What better way to inspire the players than to have this shining beacon of good health guide them.
HT 0 - 0 Typical Santos boring first half. We controlled possession (54%), but Lanus had the better chances. Lineups:
lol no. Oswaldo will play in a wheelchair if he has to. BTW, thanks for playing injured and then allowing one of the weakest goals in history in at the last possible second, asshole.
Yeah, really not worried at all this team is very beatable and they're notoriously bad away. We desperately need a proper LB and a boss CB if Araujo isn't feeling up to taking Figueroa's place
hahahah aw yea that was some bullshit at the end. Were gonna need a cleansheet and a goal at home. A cleansheet is basically impossible with out d right now, so goleada it is brehs
Yeah, straight BS. Even worse when you think about that open shot Renteria missed; we could have finished with 2 away goals. For all the talent he bears, we've all witnessed how his [Renteria] youthful exuberance can get the best of him at times. He will improve, though. Quintero has taken Andres under his wing and checks him whenever he makes those awful mistakes. Reminds me of the times when Chucho Benitez would rage every time a young Darwin would ruin a good build up by making stupid plays. Quintero became a better player because of that, and Renteria will follow suit.
Funny you should mention it, that is exactly what came to my mind Though Darwin still does that from time to time as was seen last night... a little less selfishness and the dudes would skyrocket into Columbia's starting XI
Yesterday, he was beyond selfish and into straight up hero mode. He does more good than bad though, so I'll let it slide more often than not. I love the fact that he is ultra aggressive. A player like that can bring a team out of a funk, but when hero mode isn't working, it can get ugly, like last night.
That one game from Darwin last season comes to mind. He missed the most clear chances i think ive ever seen anyone miss. Dont remember who it was against but it was a disaster.
To be honest his inconsistency is probably the only reason weve been able to hang on to him this long. When he is on he is on. Was even having his way with Madrid's d a while back in that one friendly lol
Yeah, I can see us holding on to him for maybe another year before he makes the inevitable jump to Europe
I believe that was the Clausura 2013 tournament against Atlas that Oribe missed due to injury. The entire team couldn't score to save their lives. Darwin was getting hammered in social media, lol.
