Read this on the The Clean Sheet:

Galaxy manager Sigi Schmid told the L.A. Daily News on Alexi Lalas:
"He thinks about the game much more than the past, and as a result his tactical awareness and ability to read and understand the game is better."

    Lalas Response to Schmid's comments:
"Tactical awareness? (laughs) You learn from being slow. It's out of necessity."

Haha! Well at least he realizes how much he gets burnt and gives up goals for his team. God he is awful, but still... good personality.

    Alexi is great.

Is Tino Palace his real name???

"Soccer America's Ridge Mahoney writes that D.C.'s pursuit of a striker may bag Crew forward Dante Washington, who was born in Baltimore and grew up in Columbia, Md."

Why would Columbus let Dante slip away?

Because we have something like 17 forwards on an 18 man roster. That, and our GM is an idiot.

Well, the first part of that is a bit of an exagerration, but the second part is spot on.
