    Chivas USA Vs. Galaxy 9/13/07 pre/in/post [R]

Game time is 8pm, so no excuse for anyone to miss this weekday game. Chivas has been playing great soccer and they deserve equally great fan support.

Nunez and Zotinca will be out, but it's alright because we've got this thing called "depth" in our line up. 2-0 Chivas and a move to first place, even if it's temporary. Hold tight Chivas. Hold tight St. Pat's!

    Big game coming up!
Not only is this game Vs the Herbalitas but it is a game that can put Chivas in first place in the west.

I am looking forward to this game.
Those of you who normally stay at home, I would recommend heading to the HomeDepot Center.
The game will be on ESPN so you all know what that means... :D

I think it will be a though match.

    Vamos Chivas!!!

This one is very important and everybody needs to show up to this game.
When we win it will put us in first place and give us the series against the Pub Team.

First, we'll crush them, and sink them so deep in the standings that they'll think they're in the darkest pit of the Valley of the Shadow of Death, then we'll make them look so bad that in comparison Real Salt Lake will look like Johan Cruyff and the Clockwork Oranje, then we'll troll their forum until they cry like little girls, and we'll laugh at them in their humiliation at the HDC.

And the poor fools will be grateful to us because the owner of the pub will be so embarrased with the pub's team that he will fire Yallop and AleKKKsi Lalas ASAP

See you at the HDC, to bad Becky wont be playing, the look on his face at the last game was priceless...:D

WE CANNOT LOOK PAST THEM. They still hold the SuperClassico Cup.

The Galaxy must be buried. They put 3 on Colorado and we have to respect that.

EastLAChiva is a wise man. Forget the table / standings for this one. The Gals are kinda like a wounded animal right now.... they just might be dangerous Thursday.

I also think this is going to be a very tough match. I predict a 2-1 win for us. They are not playing for anything but PRIDE, and PRIDE is something more important than points in the situation they are in. Expect them to come in with everything. Let's not understimate them. Arriva las CHIVAS!!!

I hope that everyone in this forum, that lives within in driving distance of The Home Depot Center, will be at that game. Take your family and friends lets get a good turn out. I will be with you guys in spirit as I can't go because I am on the other side of the country. :(

DON'T RELY ON ESPN, GO TO THE GAME. TV DOES NOT COMPARE TO LIVE FUTBOL.

We are playing with better form when compared to the last time out. The same cannot be said for the Galaxy. The injury bug/overexertion has devastated our enemy and we must take advantage. The pub club will pay dearly for its past sins. We will finally raise some hardware on thursday night. I'll predict another Guzano shutout and a possible hat-trick by Galindo.

Update: There are no more tickets at ticketmaster, we are in for a loud night!

Your only sell-out is against the Galaxy. Hmmmm. And the single game tickets to this match went on sale very early in the season. Hmmmm. You really think a lot of those seats are going to be filled by Chivas supporters?

Too bad being loud doesn't kick the ball into the net.
And have you ever heard the audience at the Teen Choice Awards? We could actually use some of them in the HDC. I wouldn't diss those pre-girls too quickly.

Well happy trolling to you. I don't know if you have ever been to a Super Classico, but I have ... to several. For the record, when Chivas are home there are more Chivas fans then gal fans.

While being loud does not kick the ball into the net, Maykel Galindo does. Please come troll after the game. I promise you won't have much to say.

Why do Galaxy fans care so much about our attendance numbers?

The bottomline is wins and loses. There are ups and downs, so move on trolls.

our attendance is all they have to hold over us at this point. They have a crappy team and even crappier FO. They are out the playoffs, Open Cup and lost the SuperLiga. If we had good attendance they would all have to kill themselves, we are their only reason for living now.

Lol, everytime I go here and read one your pre-match posts, you are all saying, "come on Goats, lets get more than 10k to this match." I would hardly say that Galaxy supporters are the only ones addressing attendance.

I would rather have our 10k fans out there that love THE TEAM and not fairweather fans or people that only love Beckham.
I would rather be playing significant games than being the butt of all jokes.
I would rather drink a beer and enjoy quality Futbol than bitch and complain about how much my team sucks.
I would rather have double digits in the win column than on the loss column.
I would rather be in the top of the bracket than in the cellar.

Bottom of the table or only 10,000 supporters? Hmmm... I'll take problems in the stands over problem in the pitch any day!!!

    Galaxy fans are comical. :D

Uh no and I never admitted to being one. Btw, it clearly states that I have never went to a Chivas home match not a Galaxy home match. Learn how to better comprehend what you read.
Although I always kept abreast of the Galaxy, I did not start being interested in them as a club to follow until Beckham arrived. So sue me. If anyone has a problem with that, I can get Miss Teen South Carolina to show you my a-- on a map.

    Bump. Your predicted lineups?

Same as Sunday's maybe with Borenstein in the back and Nunez as a late sub perhaps?

J-Born should be back for this one so I expect the back line to be solid. Unlike the game against NY where some miscommunication with The Law and Thomas caused some scares.

I also predict Itsapubteamnotaclub to fully go MIA after Thursday's loss.

The Gals defense is as porous as the fishnet stockings Posh Spice wears when she's role playing for Becks, so I fully expect Mendoza, Special K, Galindo, and Razov to reak havoc on their decimated d.

There's no way we should lose this game, and I'm confident my boys wont disappoint me.

Final score Chivas 4 Gals -2
