"We spoke at length about football over lunch yesterday. I knew as soon as I left his house I wanted to play for Burnley."
    - Joey Barton

Okay, boys and girls, while this isn't the biggest pr last game left on the schedule, and likely won't even effect the team's final standing, it is the last game of the Premiership season and it would be all too nice to end the year on a high.

For Burnley no major squad notes. It's their last home game and they have the possibility of moving up or down one spot from their current 15th standing. Apart from that it's all about pride.

Similar story for Arsenal, which may or may not decide to rest players to avoid injury ahead of the Europa final. 4th in the table is a very remote possibly but that's not even something entirely under their control.

Arsenal are feeling high after Thursday's victory, but they also had to travel and play while Burnley sat home and rested.

The stage is set. The final act for the league season. Strap on your boots and let's do this.

We damn well better come to play, come to win. There's an additional 1.5 million quid in store for us if we finish 5th not 6th!! [emoji6]

I think you meant Joey Barton, because what a douche, but I digress.

This game apparently matters according to NorthBank, so let's grab the revenue that we won't otherwise be afforded by Stan.

I do. I have a personal bet with a friend that we will finish higher than ManU. They better not screw this up.

I was just reminded of this fixture from last year. It was Wenger's farewell and we whipped them 5 nil. Well, OK it wasn't the exact same fixture. We were at home. Still, let's have some of that!

I am 100% convinced that Emery and Arsenal completely tanked the end of the league season so Emery could play Guen and El Nenny without criticism

Probably my Bigsoccer posts will be a little diminished today. I've got all available screens just displaying matches. ;)

Uh oh. Injury to an arsenal player. "Luckily" it's only to Mavropanos.

But the bad news is we have to take a chance with Kos coming in to play 60 minutes, when we would have much preferred to rest him for the whole game

I'd imagine Arsenal will play with more intensity during the US tour than this game. What a waste of time

Leno goes on a walkabouts, and has a little scrap with an opponent in the corner. Not exactly making his case for a start at Baku. ;)

Come on you Auba! One more and The golden boot race gets very interesting.

    Meanwhile Burnley pulls one back

OMG what a miss by Auba. Harder to miss than to score?

Everton lead. Six more goals for St. Totteringham's Day.

    Edit: Argh. It didn't last.

I had my math wrong. Right now all three have 22 goals: Auba, Salah and Mane.

I have no idea if they have tie-breaking systems for this award

3-1!! Last minute. Just the wrong goal scorer. [emoji20]

But with any luck Auba will still share the golden boot. Well done to him!

And well done to the boys for finishing in a positive fashion.

Second-half much better than the first half. On to Baku!!

Nketiah scores with the last kick of the season. Great way to close it out.

Clearly the stats show Ozil should be playing at CB. Typical Emery to play a guy out of position all season like that.
