wiz tied it up, 1-1 still in first half.

The Burn has the worst defense in MLS, and the A League.

Curtis got two deflections in the last five minutes. Quakes lead in fouls 7-3
maybe by the end the wanker in the middle will call persistent infringement.

Burn down 2-4 at half. 6 goals in the first half. Wow. Wonder if he'll leave in Cassar or not for the second half. A tie works, it's not all 3, but it would be improvement.

no, time to pull Behnke. Cassar was hung out to dry on almost all those goals.

This is ridiculous. I guess we'll still be ok as long as KC losses too.

    I hate Spartan Stadium.

oh sh!t you guys can't watch it.

    ok recap....

first kick of the game, davis kicks it out for no reason whatsoever. The throw in is right to Osama Bin Rossario on a break away and he scores, 11 seconds MLS record.

    - we get 3 corners in a row and EZ scores the 3rd one on a header. YESS

    - Behnke gives up the ball as Cassar is left with LD & Osama by himself and they score on a 1-2 play.

    - GOALL Curtis scores a nice run in the box from a pass from big Toni? or maybe EJ

-I didn't really see it but LD somehow got behind the defense (surprise surprise) and dribbles Cassar for the 3-2

    - LD scores on a beautiful cross, almost identical to the goal VS Mexico in the WC.

    notes....

-the D comes up way to far and doesn't get back in time, cough cough BEHNKE!!! you worthless sack of sh!t

    - we have had some good scoring opportunities, the offense is doing great

BOTTOM LINE: THEY ARE TOO DAMN FAST FOR US ON D and this field is really way to much to their advantage but if we get our sh!t together we can tie this up. This game has had 6 goals in the 1st half (tied the record) anythings possible. But I don't see it happening. Now I'm missing the second half, be back with more later...

Don't just look at Benhke...look at Ezra! Yes he scored one goal, but two goals came from his side. DeRo just walked the first one in. And why on earth would you leave Landon open in the box?!

    Run g**d*** it!

Quakes lead 11-3 in fouls, and somehow not a single yellow card yet.

    go figure.

and yes, the only difference between their joke and sucklack is that they have grass. They both distort the game beyond reason.

If they scored 3 by the end, that would show progress I guess.

June 16th, 2001 is the last time an MLS team has scored six goals in a league game. Mutiny 1-6 Crew, and Rapids 3-6 Burn.

Half hour left to do it.

and the Burn earns their first card of the evening, on their fourth foul.

    I hope it hurt.

that was smart. why would you want to be in a bar watching the Burn kill off their own season?

"DAL -67th Minute. Substitution: 10-Joselito Vaca for 24-Brad Davis, 67 minutes played."

I hope he knows what he's doing...

Vaca is in the game 30 seconds and gets fouled.
    Nice.

    67:10
SJ -68th Minute. Foul Committed by 17-Todd Dunivant, 2nd of match. Foul Suffered by 10-Joselito Vaca, 1st of match.

    67:00
    SJ -67th Minute. Catch/Punch by 18-Pat Onstad.

    66:44
DAL -67th Minute. Substitution: 10-Joselito Vaca for 24-Brad Davis, 67 minutes played.

    Now that IS different...

    75:39
DAL -76th Minute. Substitution: 14-Gavin Glinton for 8-Oscar Pareja, 76 minutes played.

On the upside, Glinton was on the field over TWO MINUTES before he was fouled.

Looks like he threw in the towel...

DAL -82nd Minute. Substitution: 19-Bobby Rhine for 18-Toni Nhleko, 82 minutes played.

I would give a lot to know what Clarke says to them after this.

Our offense finally looks dangerous but our defense is horrible. I guess no team that has four players on their back line who didn't play in the first game of the year would be in trouble. I say why not go with three backs since with four we are wasting a midfield spot. Anyone want to see Gbandi and Countess back or does it make any difference? One consolation is a lot of teams are going to have trouble with the Earthquakes.

Anyone have a clue how EJ played. MLS wrap showed a snippet where he looked to have burned a Quakes player. And was he playing wide right?
