    Hey everyone,

I'm really getting into the blue&white look of David Beckham's new line of products. My parents got me a pair of the blue/white Pulses for X-mas, and I'm looking around for any place that sells his new 'Capitano Beckham' ball.
Anyhow, I've got at least two of pretty much all my equipment, so sometimes I just go for style points  or try to replicate the equipment of my fav players.
I guess my main question is, since a lot of you on this board seem very well versed on who is wearing what, does anyone know what shin guards he wears? I have a fairly large poster of him running wearing his new line of clothes, and the shin guards look fairly small - you can see the same picture that's on my poster at the adidas web site.

    Thanks for the help!

yep those (above) are his shinpads

Iv got the older version of them but without the beckham logo. Set me back £25 but well worth it, theyre quality pro shinpads.

Very light, with removable ankle pads and detached straps so you can adjust them to your own comfort

This might be a bit off-topic, but in your opinion, guys, what are the best shin guards? And are they expensive?

Nope, got a pair of Nike Team (I think they're called that) for 3 quid and they have felt a lot better than a £25 pair I had previously with all the detachable stuff.

I love the nike vapors i have. Small and light and comfortable. I guess they do a decent job of protecting my shins. I think they were something like 20 bucks.

    Wow, you guys are quick!

So I'm a bit confused - are the ADIDAS Silhouette those ones DBL723 posted, the ones from the ad? If not, what are they called? They look really cool (even though no one really sees em' :p
And mozza, I'll take your word for it that they're comfortable and worth the money.

Sorry I should have done more research before I posted. I found out the blue and white ones are called adidas Estavelo Top.

Now, one thing I was not able to find - can anyone tell me where to get the 'Capitano Beckham' ball? appleCORR7 if I may ask, where did you find it?

Im fortunate enuff to have 2 pairs of the Nike OSI guards. As peeps on here were nice enuff to tell me, OSI is the technology whereby u get a soggy sheet on flat fibreglass, soak them, strap them onto your leg and hey presto, they mould perfectly to your leg, weigh nothing and are stronger than any other guard I ever found.
Alas, from what I can ascertain Nike no-longer do them, but u still can get guards with OSI technology, only no Nike swoosh :(

I use the older blue nike Vapors. they cost a lot for such a simple guard, but they are the best I have ever used.
I use to use the osi ones that mold, they were good, but I like the Vapors.
they are very light, they protect a lot for home thin and small they are.
good for higher level players looking for as little weight and bulk as possible.

I just bought a pair of the parker OSI shinguards off someone from ebay. He was selling them for 6.99 shipped!!! these things retail for $24.99. The only thing is they have the YMCA logo on them.(they're under the socks anyway  ) but they are made by parker. I couldn't believe it. They are awesome. Small light and protective. I was a user of big bulky guards as I am hacked all the time being a scrappy striker and all, but these things are so rad. I can't believe i've been playing with bulky things this whole time.

Irony: haven't scored since changing the guards!

Molten makes the Cobra shinguards. Easily the best I've used. Sleek, low profile, light, indestructable. ODORLESS. Comes with a lifetime warranty. Fully moldable.

Just dont leave them in a hot car, they'll go back to flat sheets in no time.
