Why bring in collegians for this camp? Grubb got hosed.

Siri and Bri will make the final 18 with them splitting duties in the match.

Well I think Jen should have been called up...but that's just me...and what I say counts! Call her up next time, AH!!

You think only Siri and Bri will make the final 18, Fear? What about Beene? I mean, I completely agree with you, but still...reasons?

Oops I missed Beene at the bottom of that list. My bad.

Still though...I don't think this match warrants April carrying 3 GKs. I think all 24 players will get a good looksie by April and her staff. But six players won't be named to the final 18. Beene had a pretty good go round with the squad in 2001 whereas Siri and Scurry are trying to get their way back in. I think April knows what Beene is capable of now with two full seasons under her belt with the Cyberrays.

But what do I know? :D

She's been getting shafted from all sides this year, why not by April also?

Do you think the goalie selection is based on the opponent? It makes sense to give Solo some experience in a meaningless friendly against a weaker opponent, so that could explain why Solo didn't make it.

I agree that April Heinrichs probably should give Hope Solo some time in the net. She can be played some in games (Like this one versus Scotland) and get a chance to show what she can do. But why Briana Scurry over Siri Mullinix? Who has looked better lately? My vote goes to Siri Mullinix.
