Title says it all. Is it too hard to comprehend? Main reason for this is that alot of twaddle is in a PBP thread and lurkers/posters wanting to discuss post-match stuff ain't too thrilled with having to wade through all the crap. Pretty much the same explanation as I had in the Power v Cyberrays IN-MATCH thread. And watch a certain someone come in here and do the  thing.

Man you Southerner's LOVE the car racing don't you? LOL

Not all of us. Auto racing is part of the GOB (Good Ol’ Boy) celebration of stupidity in America, right up there with robot wars, reality cop shows, Judge Judy, Lone Star Beer, and 'rassel'n.

Have you noticed that Tom Stone looks like Tom Paris from Star Trek Voyager? Is his wife Klingon? And can he pilot a starship? Or is he a shape shifting alien?

I really like Lukenbill's(sp) kick out of the back. She useds a drop kick and keeps it real low. That gets it to the forwards VERY quickly and gives the defense little time to react.

I wish Scurry would learn that kick and add it to the high kick she normally uses.

That's what I've noticed about Luckenbill's kicks also. Can't Scurry adjust her kicking style now or is a GK's style something they can't change automatically? It seems to me that a player should be able to change their style. Or am I wrong.

TURN OFF THE MUSIC YOU PREMATURE EJACULATING IDIOTS!!!!:mad:

    15th minute.

Is it me or is Hege Riise invisible right now? Has she even touched the ball in this match?

15' Beat awarded a freekick as a result of Unni Lehn handling the ball from who knows how far out...Nikki to take it...sends it to Parlow...Luckenbill collects.

Sawa has not been much involved yet. She needs to step it up and get some touches.

One of the Twins defends against Floptop on the far side of the 18. Floptop making a run and tries to juke a Twin but to no avail...another Beat player enters the mix and disposses Floptop. Nice.

Sawa clocked in the head by Venus James. Sawa has to come off cuz trainer came onto the field.

Parlow wins the Beat's first corner of the night...Sun Wen takes it...uhhh ends up being a Courage goalkick.

Hey FoF...is Hege Riise in this match? Her name has not been mentioned in the past twenty mins or so.

22nd minute...Roberts takes a long range shot. Easy save for Scurry.

One of the Twins sends in a cross.....somehow comes out to Krpaablowki and she takes a left footed shot from just beyond the 18...Luckenbill makes the leap and save.

Courage corner...uhhh Scurry snatches it out of the air.

    24th minute still 0-0.

Good! That's a good way to shut down their forwards and play it safe.

The drop kick is a VERY different motion than the punt as the ball actually hits the ground on the drop kick and the punt it is struck in the air.

However many keepers can hit both depending on situation. The high kick works well with the wind and/or when you have a size advantage while the drop kick is better against the wind or when you want the forward to get the ball quickly.

The technique is not hard to master and it is one of the weaknesses that Scurry has had since she started playing. I do not know why one of her keeper caoches has not convinced her to learn and master it. It is another weapon for a keeper and that it is NEVER bad to have as many weapons as possible.

Good Grief!! Sunny is playing the WHOLE field. One second she is back in the defensive 18 playing great defense then she is receiving the ball forward and then back and now she is back forward again.

Where did she find those legs????

Prinz had the break but Scurry had all the angle covered. She played Prinz and forced her to change her decission a couple of times and Nonan caught up. Prinz took a GREAT shot but there was no space and it hit the outside of the post.
