I think that the same hotel would be a good benefit to all of us for a few reasons. Safer in numbers plus just having cool people to hang with in a foreign place helps too. Any ideas for hotel yet? I just started looking for them online to get an idea of whats out there.

What about flights? Is everyone flying out the same day from AZ?

Well we need to figure out where everyone wants to stay. Sounds like some people want to do the same hotel, other people want to just do their own thing. I had recommended a hotel on the Azteca 2009 thread, but my buddy told me today tripadvisor.com had bad ratings for that hotel, people having stuff stolen from their hotel room, etc.

Flights will depend on how long everyone wants to stay, but I think if we can pick out a single hotel maybe we can get a group rate, or at the very least know that other US fans will be there for safety and security.

Cool man, I am 100% in. I am waiting on flights to become reasonable, and for them to definitely announce it will be in DF.

I think some of my buds will join from LA/Vegas. I'm not sure what we'll do about lodging - I want to stay for a week and we can do that cheap in a hostel.

Either way... should be amazing.

My name is Tony and I also live in Phoenix. I plan on flying out to see Mexico vs the USA at Azteca. I have seen the US play Brazil in Chicago, Sweden in LA and Mexico here in Phoneix and Houston.
