I thought those meant the more posts you have the more little green squares you get.

But I think I'm wrong because I just saw a user (TOTC) in another thread with 3,606 posts BUT he only has ONE little green square!!!

Then I saw another user (NYR Metros) on the same thread, with only 2,501 posts, but he has 3 (THREE) little green squares!!!

What's going on? what's those squares mean anyways? here's the thread where I saw the above:
https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70159

Also, I posted on the same thread twice but my number didn't increase. what's up with that?

Tends to fall in line with a FAQ and not mutually exclusive to the USA Men's forum, so I'm moving this to the Suggestions forum.

If you mean your post number did not increase that might be because you posted in a non-soccer forum.

Is each green square equivalent to some number? like 1 square = 10 good votes or 100 good votes? so 2 squares would mean 20 good votes or 200 good votes.

Where can I find this kind of information? is it posted anywhere? thanks.

You get additional squares every 100 points you get. The glowing ones cost 200.
And just to bring you up to speed, the green ones are called "nipples" and the glowing ones are called "teats"

As long as they're not called "hanging chads" I'm ok with it. The names are funny nonetheless. So after you get enough nipples, you start getting teats? or do you get one nipple and then one teat and then another nipple and so on? John Aschroft better not be reading this!

So where is this info posted anyways? or is it a top secret?

First your nipples, then your teats.
And it's all tribal knowledge.

The more you brown-nose the PC element of these boards the more green nipples you get. If you dare to disagree with the PC element you get bad rep, or red nipples. Got it? BTW if you don't believe it just watch. I had a green nipple when I posted this. Give it a few days and watch.

Yeah, listen to these guys - they're dead right.

Take me, for instance; people around here like to call me "Mr. PC" because I am so well beloved by Moderators and posters alike.

As a result of absolutely everyone on BigSoccer agreeing with me about John Kerry, Affirmative action, Palestine, Guns, God and Guts, along with my constant groveling at the feet of the Cool Kids Table, I have managed to get a lot of rep.

Ok, I don't get this. I have 2 green squares, 2 red squares and 3 gray squares. However it says I have -2 points?? How did I manage to get -2 points?

When I had one green square I had +8 pts, then somebody gave me a red square (which he later wanted to retract but couldn't) for a net result of +1 point. Then somebody gave me a green square followed by a gray square. No effect on points, I still had +1. Then another red square and that took me to -2. Two more gray squares didn't have any effect on my points. Still -2. So how does this work?

Is each green square equivalent to 7 pts sometimes? and sometimes it's worth nothing? are red squares equivalent to -7 or -3 pts depending on the person who gives it to you? and what are gray squares? Hope somebody can help, or post a link.

Everyone's positive or negative affect on your reputation is different.
The formula's never been figured out, but it's got something to do with reputation and possibly post count. The more reputation you've got, the more your juice affects someone you rep.

The PC element?? Are they by chance the posters with thousands of posts?
If I am mistaken who might they be, so I can begin my groveling!!

People who log on to BigSoccer with Windows PCs. There's a huge Mac vs Windows rivalry here, believe it or not.

I think you earn nipples in relation to the provider. So, someone with a lot of nipples and teats who gives you rep will affect your rep in strong way.

Gray squares don't affect your rep. I think these folks just don't have much sway on the rep'o'meter.

The reputation of the repper along with possibly their post count determines how many points their rep is worth. Also, mods have more juice than regular people. Admins have amazing juice.

Exactly, the more time you spend on your knees the better your green nipple count is.
