Yea, I'm real excited for the first matchday on Sept 18/19. I just wonder who will be healthy enough to play...

Great, I wanted Real so much! :)
But it's still tough, Lazio is on our level and Olympiakos is also a very good side. Won't be easy...

by no means easy, but the CL never is.

I am MUUUUUUUCH happier about this draw versus last year.....we can make it past this group if we get healthy

Tough draws for Stuttgart and Shalke, Bremen have the best chance to go through out of the three German teams.

Lazio will be tough and Madrid is vulnerable defensively. Best of luck!

Yes, they are a good team.

I see a kind of Deja Vu ;) with the CL group 2 years ago,
when we had Barca (Spain), Panathinaikos (Greece) and Udinese (Italy) in our group.

I think that Real is the top favourite. However, spot 2 should be possible!

After Nou Camp, the Werder fans get to know another Spanish resp. European top stadium. ;)

i can see us getting through in the second spot, AS LONG AS KEY PLAYERS RECOVER FROM INJURY.....i dont think we can make it out of the group with performances like two days ago....we need as many of our starters back as possible...

    Great draw for Werder.

Real Madrid: They are beatable..if you guys noticed they always struggle against attacking teams. (Lyon,Arsenal) so hopefully Werder can do the same.

Lazio: Although they have a solid squad, I'm afraid Lazio just don't have depth..which means that the players will be burned out from Serie A and CL football. Not to mention they are very inexperienced.

Olympiakos: I expect Werder to beat them at home but the trip to Greece can be very tricky.

this is a fair draw, it's better than last year's group. i don't want to be too confident but werder should go through if most of their key players get fit and if the team starts to step up. they won't get anywhere if they continue playing like they have for the past weeks, but i can see the team is gradually getting better.

I actually think Bremen has a good chance 2 be at the top of the group, Real is good, but you know how they are always making mistakes...
Anyway, spot 1 and 2 belong to Bremen or Real

Lazio with their limited squad don't pose much of a threat..

At home we should beat Lazio and Olympiakos. It's the away matches that I'm worried about.

Werder don't have a good record when playing away in Europe
