No, *I'm* not new in town, but a new place that has been in STL for-nearly-ever has opened at 6995 W 151st in Stanley. Yes, Llyewellyn's Pub from the Central West End has brought over it's chips, shepard's pie and irish stew (with LAMB, as god intended). And a large selection of beers! No, I don't own the place, but I tried claiming a bartender as a dependent a few years back when I was working in STL. I just called to verify - they have HDNet and plan on showing the game tonight. For those that are tired of the less than cordial welcome at Coach's, head a couple blocks further S on Metcalf and hang a left. It's in the old church, so it's nearly a religious experience as well No, it's not officially sanctioned by anyone...
It's a nice place. Went there last week. Honkers, Bridgeport IPA, Guinness, Boddingtons, etc. on tap.
From what Derek said in another post, it appears that The Embassy does not have HD Net, just the Direct Kick package (which isn't carrying tonight's match). Might be the time to try this place. The menu sounds good.
