Vergara, Saprissa and Chivas negotiations

Does anybody know how Vergara was during purchase negotiations w/ Chivas and later Saprissa?

I know that he has been an a-hole w/ Atletico Madrid. And I was in Mexico (Irapuato) when the purchase was finalizing. I think I remember that he had refused to state whether or not he was going to keep the all Mexican tradition going at Chivas.

My overall question is if these shananigans are part of his negotiating routine? If so, I guess we'll find out once the expansion is announced
