You know, I was looking at the schedule, figuring out my weekend plans around the games on the Shootout.

When I read the Columbus at Chicago entry, I thought, THEREs one I have to see real-time (as opposed to taping) - not just because of the playoff implications in the East, but because of:

    The chanting and the atmosphere!

I had your 'Fire... Fire, Fire, Fi---urhhh' chant stuck in my head all morning now, and I've never been a game in Chicago. This if from TV exposure.

I guess what I'm saying is, the Chicago fans add tremendously to the show that is the Fire.

Nice work! Thought I'd pass that along.

You're in for a real treat on Friday. Not only a audio assault, but a highly visual one. The league will be proud.

You might need 2 or three extra senses to handle everything planned for the rest of the season.

    So, plan appropriately. :)

    Fire!

By the way, can someone post the lyrics to Fire!, as sung by Bad Deals please? I just bought the CD from the Fire, but I have no idea what they're saying.

    Re: Fire!

It's time to put that song to rest.

Not the one we sing at games, just that song as recorded. If we get rid of it no one can prove we ever played in Naperville ;)

"Hey, you guys, didn't you play in Naperville for a year?"

    "Prove it!"
