    D.C. give or take
I think that Trey might be better suited for the studio by himself than with the others, listening to the Trey album v. several Phish albums.

Phish made some solid albums (Billy Breathes, Rift, Story of the Ghost), but I think it's a hard comparison to make. Trey's first album was made with about 10-15 years of recording experience under his belt. Not that Phish's other albums weren't good or that some of them had better songs, but to me, those are the best albums as a complete whole.

RIFT???????? hello??? maybe my favourite album of all time.. Junta is right up there as well..

    i got the DVD "It"
thumbs sideways.. the sound is absolutely incredible, but it seems like the boys are somewhat dis-interested compared to the glory years of 95-97~ just my opinion.. it was more going thru the motions... i do miss cactus, leo, henrietta, et al

    Rift is in my list.

I've been debating on whether or not to get that. Maybe I'll get it through Netflix first.

Yeah, I saw probably 80% of the Phish shows I saw between 95-97. Amazing stuff those years.

I also hate the fact that there are no real good shots of the light show from the crowd's perspective.

Here's one I wasn't expecting. I came across an old interview with Trey on the 'net this morning and it included this quote from him!

"Slayer’s Reign in Blood is probably one of my all-time favorite records."

i play guitar in a twee indie band with a girl singer, and i have to say reign in blood is easily one of my faves too. btw, slayer is playing here in town on 6/6/6.

i have a phish question: i know they like to jam old songs, one time i heard a coworker was playing some live phish and at the end of one of their songs they broke into the second half of the stones' "can't you hear me knockin'" does anyone know what phish song/concert that was, or was it maybe something they did a lot? thanks.
