I disagree. I don't know Raneiri was treated harshly at all. Many people were upset with the way it went down. Many (most) of the starting players on the team today were bought by Claudio. We have him to thank for Robben, Duff, Cole, Cech, Gallas, Lampard, Makelele, Bridge. However, I do think that there was/is a feeling that Claudio was not the man to take us to the next level.
