Tampa Bay Buccaneers' owner ups his stake in Man Utd.

You make this sound like it's a big deal! I have shares in Man Utd so what does that mean.

The rules in England say that once you own 3% of a club or more, some sort of a public declaration of that ownership needs to be made. From what I've read, Glazer doesn't own much more than 3% and made no statements that he intends to buy a large chunk at this time. If he's at all interested in outright ownership in a club, I think it's more likely that he'll wait for a club like Leeds to fall into administration & try turning them around much like he did with Tampa Bay.
