    Mystery surrounds Shevchenko

Russian newspapers claim that Andriy Shevchenko is not injured and will play for the Ukraine this week.

The doubts on the Milan man’s injury – feared to be a torn knee ligament that could keep him out for two months – were raised by television station NTV+Football.

This sounds like a media creation to me.

That would help but he still would miss two games in the Champions League.

I know there's nothing to be done about the CL matches, but I'd still like to have 3-5 serie A games without him as opposed to 6-8.

What's most important at this point is that Sheva returns ONLY when he is at full strength. I am sick of Milan's nagging injury woes the past two seasons; one player with a repeat injury and maybe you can say they are the problem, but time and again we have seen a Milan player get hurt, only to come back and injury himself within the next few weeks.

Maybe this Milan Lab will be the key to the scudetto ;)
