Kicking off tonight with Rangers V Stuttgart in Ibrox, the huns I know are a bit full of themselves lately after beating copenhagen, but IMO tonight is going to be a shock to TFOD system, best they can hope for is a draw worst case stuttgart running riot.

Tommorow evening, Bayern Munich V celtic in the olympiastadion, both teams having a bit of an injury crisis at the minute, for bayern a problem for us 2 injuries away from being worse than rangers, best we can hope for is a draw, maybe sneaking a win, worst case is bayern running riot too, depends if we are saving all our best performances for europe this season too, which I doubt very much :(

I figure score draw for the Rangers Game and a loss for 'Tic with outside hope for pipping a point, which would be a bonus all things considered.

No fingers needed to count the number of Scots playing for Rangers tonight! :(

That was quite an unbelieveable match, Rangers probably had the best in the first half an hour, stuttgart scored before half time, quite lucky.
Rangers looked dead until they got the luckiest of equalisers out of nothing and then a screamer and they have it won 2-1.
    Surreal.
    Still well done the gers.....
I hope we play that crap and win the morra too!

Mo Ross came on when Berg killed Ricksen and had an excellent game down the right I thought.

What's the prognosis on Ricksen? Heard he took quite a blow. Berg as well?

Berg was fine, it looked like he was bleeding but it was just Ricksen's splash effect :)

He was out cold, he didnt know where he was when he came round, bad bang to the temple and probably concussed, miss a week or two probably just to be on the safe side.

Agreed, I thought Ross was close to being MotM.

Its quite amazing what a scrambled goal can do. Nerlinger was having a nightmare but in one of the papers he got a match rating of 7/10!!!

Its a bit like Paul Dickov for Scotland the other week.

Stuttgart hadn't conseeded a goal all season but lost 2 in five minutes last night.

Yet another boost for Scotish football - a Scottish team doesn't play well but beats one of the top sides in Germany!

Do you really have nothing better to do? This is a place for enlightened views to be shared between people. Can't you get enough banter down at the pub? Jeez. You won't see me coming on here and gloating after Rangers get gubbed TWICE by Man United.

So Celtic fans despite the tough loss do you still think your club will advance from the group ? The other 2 clubs are not push overs this group is very competitive it should go down to the wire. I think you have the advantage right now because you really impressed on the road and Lyon did not impress at home. Hopefully things will change.

If Hedman doesnt play another champions league match (or a match in general he does the same in the SPL) we are in with a chance, I rate lyon as more dangerous than bayern actually(aside from maakay they were ordinary), so we need points against anderlecht, no easy feat, and a win against you at home.

Football really is a funny game!

Celtic played really well & lost, while Rangers played rubbish and won!

That was Celtic's hardest game & I think they have shown that they can win all 5 of their remaining games (they wont but its possible) & qualify in at least 2nd.

Rangers meanwhile, cannot win their remaining matches beacause Man Utd are a class above them (Arsenal won 3-0 at Ibrox in a recent friendly & Man U are much better - esp in Europe). Also the away matches in Greece & Germany are tough.

Stuttgart certainly don't like playing in Scotland - they have now played Celtic, Hearts & Rangers in the last 5 years and lost them them all!

This just in. They've cancelled the remaining games, moved Celtic on, and Rangers are out. They've also awarded Celtic the treble b/c we all know they'll win that as well.

    Games are no longer needed.

While somewhat off topic, I think that Bayern will get 11 points (3 wins, 2 ties, 1 loss), so all possibilities are open still for Celtic. There are no easy teams in the group.

    poise

Celtic may have lost but they showed great poise against Bayern Munich. If they keep their heads up they are definitely going to go through and then some.

    hail hail

    Re: poise

I dont think celtic are good enough this season to go through to the next stage, their still living in yesteryear, they think because they had a good run last season that will carry them through, they have the worst goalie i have every seen , and if the plays they will have no chance !

If Hed-less ever sees a match in europe again ahead of Rab Douglas MON will be getting his eyes and his head checked the following morning, count on it.

There is only one game down. I think if The Tic' put in that amount of effort in to the remaining fixtures then they have a better than ave. chance of going through. When they are back to full strength they can take on any team.

Re. the Gers- they are going to have to win their home games (tough with Man U. coming up) and hope they take at least a point in Greece and Germany to get their.
