Noonan, I think around the 10 minute mark. For this team in this game, that first goal is huge.

    Thanks.

    Good stuff so far.

Even though he gave up a useless corner, Jay Heaps just schooled School Boy Eddie Gaven in the corner. Gaven just hung his head after trying get around Heaps three times without success.

    Revs 1-0 at the half.

Revs winning the run of play battle so far.

Good solid team effort, too. Joey Franchino and CLINT Mathis have had a nice running battle.

Like the rest of the Metro Infidels, they are cowering at the gates of Baghdad.

Hey, if you're a Mutts fan the updates are over! Got it?

Guevara's not doing anything to stand out, honestly.

2nd half is about to start.

Guevara has not made an impression to this point. So far his biggest contribution may be drawing a yellow on Heaps for holding.

Revs are carrying the play. Winning 50/50 balls, stringing together combinations of passes, and creating opportunities.

Cannot think of any dangerous opportunities so far for the Metros.

    60th minute

Much more possesion so far this half for the Metros. One close shot by Gaven and a few corners, direct kicks.

In the last minute or so the Revs have had their best possession of the half.

    Cullen in for Fabbro.

    63rd minute

    Magee on for Wolyniec.

Metros shot off the crossbar. Not off the bar, Brown reached behind himself and deflected it with his arm! Great save!!!

Guevara's shot was saved by Brown's left paw, and subsequently hit the left post in the 64th.

The game's being played in the Revs' third far too much for my liking.

That was a sweet save by Brown, too. Big time.

71': The Terminator, aka Kante abruptly ---oops, sorry --- stones Gaven about 25 yards outside the Revs box.

After knocking around in the air in their area, Revs take the ensuing counter and Noonan scores his second in 73' from FAR outside the box. Mutts' keeper Walker stood there like Fred Sanford watching it go by him.

    2-0 Revs!

    88' and still 2-1.

Mutts have been knocking on the door and maintaing possession.

Revs look solid in defense, though. Clearances could be better.

Mathis had a dangerous one just miss.

Noise in the stadium has gone up dramatically, too.

    STEVE: WASTE TIME!

    94:14 In now.

I hate to say it, but Bob Bradley must have compromising pictures of Don Garber. He has to. Four minutes stoppage time added? For what?

Richie 'Munchkin' Williams incites a near riot after Pope chops Cancela from behind, one that gets both benches up.

Kante is looking to kill someone. Llamosa playing Kofi Annan.
