I find your honesty and sincerity refreshing ... reputation points for you.

If you say that really fast, you sort of feel like the soup Nazi.

The "Reputation" thing is bogus and should be discontinued. But then so are "Ignore" lists, but those will never be removed.

I've no intention of using either.

I'm listed as having shameless behavior in my past. Considering I've never received a yellow card, much less a red, I find it distasteful to be accused of "shameless behavior." Sure my posts tend to be tough. So what? I stay within bounds and don't get personal.

I've received two knocks in reputation from some person I've never heard of concerning the issue of Adu starting. That's a legitimate issue with valid points to be made on both sides. I don't appreciated being accused of trolling for expressing my displeasure over what happened on that issue. And I don't accept being handed a "disreputable" label for simply standing up for my opinion.

While I'm on the subject, I read here where some people are getting hit about reputation on the politics threads. Listen, if those posts are not counted as part of the post tally, they should not be allowed to be utilized in damaging a posters' reputation. And why aren't they counted in the post tally, anyway?

i fully agree with you. the reputation thing is a joke. it's only for those who like to suck on each other and bash on others such as skipshady, migkiller, huss, and countless countless bigsoccer fanboys.

So ... reputation's a joke, yet you decided to give me negative rep for this thread? Why, just because I'm here? Look, don't both criticize the system AND use it carelessly. If reputation keeps comments like "suck on each other" out of serious threads, it's worth its weight in gold to me. Just like the ignore list is pretty much worth premium membership all on its own. People give you negative rep because they don't like you. If you want to know why they don't like you, read your above post over and over until you understand.

I really don't care one way or the other. Some people want to play "Look, I'm sitting at the popular kid's table" then they can have at it. BMG.

My only problem with the reputations thing is that it seems to have more to do with the Free for All forums than it does with, you know, actual soccer stuff.

Virtually everybody in the Forum, the BS equivalent of the campus malt shop on Ozzie and Harriet (or maybe Arnold's on Happy Days) where people sit around chewing their cud 40 posts a night about how often they need to pick lint out of their belly button or which dangerously anorexic starlet's surgically enhanced mammary glands you like best or whatever the hot topic of the moment is, has like 93 little green boxes.

Apparently, the place is the functional equivalent of a circle jerk, and the ratings system really ought to display wadded up balls of Kleenex instead of those cubes.

If this is Big SOCCER, then a ratings system for the quality of your material ought to reflect the caliber of your soccer-related posts, not how many hours you spend swapping bon mots with your playgroup.

It was a good idea, but in less than a month it's become nothing but a joke.

I like jokes. Jokes are fun, especially practical jokes. They're fun and practical, like a sports sedan with a V-6 engine.

My 300zx is nice. Still needs some work, but it's coming around. The pop-charger will add maybe 5HP and I'm gonna strip out the cats in a couple weeks and use a 3 inch Stillen from there back. Ought to seriously boost first gear.

Had the T-tops off last weekend. What a blast. I've got two 12" Rockford Fosgate subs going in as soon as I find time to fab the box. I will definitely have a bass line.

You should see some of the hilarious crap some of these ********** are now sending me. They're livid that their little game is now out in the open. Moderators cursing at me (guys like that "zodiac" douchebag almost made me fall out of my chair. Calling me a mean name!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA)

Not a single one of them is able to come up with why I'm wrong about this, but they're upset that somebody may notice that they're as busy stroking each other with rep points as the head girl in a cheap Bangkok massage parlor.

Circle jerk is exactly what it is. These Kings (and Queens) of civil behavior with "nipple" lines longer than their dicks are now angry with little me for spoiling the fun.

Boo Hoo Hoo. What a bunch of buttwads.

You're confusing "livid" with "indifferent to what you think."

    And I don't have a dick.
