Wow, I actually have a copy of that Soccer Digest sitting on the shelf in front of me. I kept it all these years due to the article within entitled 'The Rise and Fall of the NASL'. The only other two Soccer Digest's that I kept are from Feb/Mar 1990 (Krys Sobieski on the cover), and from Feb/Mar 1991 (Brian Quinn on the cover). Nothing Puget Sound related, though. There's a pic of Steve Zungul in one of them, but it's from his New York Arrows days. I've also got an MISL 1988-1989 Official Guide loaded with Tacoma info. Oh, and I have the 1988 WSA Media Guide as well as tons of press releases. One press release announces a lawsuit between the Seattle Storm and St Louis Storm over name infringement, another mentions that actor/comedian Bill Murray is an investor of the Salt Lake Sting. I also have a response letter from FC Seattle on official color letterhead (November 2, 1988....signed Joan Rothrock, Public Relations Director). It's amazing what you could get back then just by writing letters. I'm not in the market to sell or give any of this stuff away, but let me know and I can photocopy what I can and mail it....if you can use any of it. Lone Star, That's just the kind of stuff we like for the collection! Do you or a friend have a scanner? That would be the best way to get stuff to the Puget Sound Museum. We recently have had a lot of FC Seattle donations, but nothing along the lines of what you have. In a pinch clear copies would work. They could be scanned after arriving here. Yeah, I'll send you a message later on today. I've got a cheap scanner that crashes after every 2-3 scans, but I'll dust off the cobwebs and see what it can do. It'd be cool to see this stuff put to good use after 15 years.
