I need a new car. There is no rush. I like the mpg of the Passat TDI. Possible other choices: Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, Camry Hybrid, Honda Insight or Civic Hybrid. I'm probably going to have this car for more than 10 years. I only drive about 7500 miles a year.
I would choose the Passat TDI easily over your other choices, it's a really good looking car and it gets great mileage with the diesel.
