if we win on wednesday, we'll either play Milwaukee Rampage or KC at a site TBD. Crew officials have supposedly put in a bid to host, but obviously, a final decision won't be made until after the contests.

don't look for too many changes to the lineup. Harkes is injured and probably won't play. Which means we'll see Warzycha and not Garcia.

Reminder that the game is at approx 9:15 PM on eagle 103.9 FM and on the internet at eagle103.com and thecrew.com

This is still our best chance at silverware this year, and the Metros are in their usual disaray, but I still feel that it would be difficult to beat them 2x in a row in NJ within a week.
Now can someone explain to me how you host these games, Krypto mentioned something about the Crew putting in a bid to be host for the semis. Now if we win and we really make that bid do we then pay USSF for the rights to host that game? Is there a limit as to how many games you can host? If we hosted the semis and somehow made it to the finals is hosting the finals outta the question?

Martino plays at least 80 minutes, we win, under we lose.

I was reading soccer365 and it mentioned that the Metros knocked off the hosts (Hampton Roads). I'm not sure if it meant they are hosting the final or if it just meant that they were the home team in that game.

Does anybody know the status of Harkes, Perez, etc? How about the Metro players?

I would like to have Perez healthy enough to at least be a sub. ANYTHING other than the Polish Sausage. I think we need to get ahead before half time, and then continue to press in the 2nd half. I wonder if Greg will do this since we were able to push during almost the entire game last week.

I think that both will be out for this one and probably a few more.

This game is starting to look like a matchup between the 4077 and the 8063. CBus has Harkes, Perez and more out, and the Metro are missing Mathis, Davis, Ramos, Balboa (although I doubt anyone still counts him) and possibly Diallo, who isn't 100%

    This game could be ugly.

(Nothing on BS shocks me, but I'll be pretty surprised if anyone else gets the 1st sentence of this post! :))

    Wasn't the 4077th a M.A.S.H. unit?

I believe both of them are... I think 4077 was the main location where MASH took place and then 8063 was another unit elsewhere, but I don't know. Enlighten us JMac

Wasn't the 8063 Evacuation Unit the team that the 4077 Mobile Army Surgical Hospital played in the football game that was the climax of the movie M*A*S*H?

Indeed the "eight-oh-sixtythird" Evac Unit was their opponent in that game, which was characterized by mass numbers of players being taken off on stretchers.

soooo... nice to rehash some old MASH memories, but how about this game we have today?

From the Dispatch, it seems like Oughton will be starting again in the midfield. Any insider news on whether Garcia might get inside the touch lines this game? The article talks about how each team knows each other so well... how about a monkey-wrench named Garcia? They won't know how to play him, but then again, I think that might be our current problem as well.

Hosts meant of that game. The site of the final is always in one of the two team's cities. No neutral sites.
