From what I know, the Charge have a match against Boston in the HAll of Fame in October. And I believe against San Diego in Los Angeles in September. I assume these matches are USA based players. And this would infer some training would be happening to maintain a competitive edge. In addition, there's some players who would be involved in national camps.
The SD game is at the Rose Bowl on 9/14 which is part of a WUSA/MLS doubleheader; the National Soccer Hall of Fame game is in Oneonta, NY 10/4. Paul
