Has the Spurs appealed or they already did? Nevermind, looks like they've already gone that route. Another case of bureaucrats triumphing over common sense.
hahaha trust me, you don't want to be red-carded. Ask Hamatachi, he learned it the hard way. Right Hama?
Yes, they did. It has been turn down again. The deadline for the transfer window is Aug 31. So, that's it for Qu. Qu's agent said Spurs will try to appeal again when the transfer window opens late December. Anyway, first Zhang yuning, then Qu Bo. F*** the British Labour Department.
This was posted on the spurs official website At a Home Office hearing today, the Club’s application to obtain a work permit for Chinese international Qu Bo was rejected. Although the 21-year-old played in the majority of China’s World Cup campaign he was deemed, at the initial appeal stage, not to have played the required 75% of ‘A’ internationals over the past two years. The Club requested an early Appeal, conscious of the impending transfer window deadline. Commented Director of Football, David Pleat: "After taking all matters into consideration, the tribunal decided that they could not grant a permit at this stage in Qu Bo’s career. We have had a fair hearing and have to respect their view. "However, it is very disappointing for both player and Club. We shall continue to monitor his progress."
