Jose Mourinho said today it is unlikely he will recall striker Carlton Cole from his loan spell at Aston Villa during the January transfer window.

Mourinho, whose Chelsea team face Fulham tomorrow, said: "It would be very difficult for someone to come here in January and integrate fully into the squad. We have a special unit here and cover for every position.

"Unless they are very special or we suffer injuries, I don't need anyone else at this time.

"As for Carlton Cole, he is not playing well for Aston Villa and it is difficult for me to bring him back."

I will be really shocked if we don't bring in another striker in January, especially if Kezman doesn't start finding the net on a more regular basis. Even when only playing one up front in a 4-3-3, to remain competitive in 3 or 4 competitions is going to require an extra striker.

I would put a little side bet on that Cole will never play for us as long as Drogba and Gudjohnson are with Chelsea, he's far too similar in style to the two - especially Drogba.

Forssell now, he offerers something different and wouldn't be surprised at all if we don't go for another striker in the off season and keep him in the squad.

Kezman is having a very difficult start, but, the lad has scored some quality goals over his career.I saw him play quite often last season and liked him, i was plesantly surprised when we got him in the summer.

However, he could be on a one way ticket back to Holland if he doesn't find some sort of goal scoring touch before seasons end.
