I've given out too much rep, but thanks a lot for this. G-d, that crest is so ugly. I liked the Puma uniforms much more. These look like a youth soccer club from Sonoma or something.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Schnorrer_Sefarad again.

I don't really like these uniforms. But I am very glad that I didn't purchase the new Puma shirt. Truth be told, I didn't know that we were leaving Puma, which Arnon Milchan has a large stake in, for Adidas.

I didn't either, and was about to buy a shirt! I thought we were guaranteed w/ Puma for awhile, but oh well.

yeah, i just saw these on the israel football association website.
and i am PISSED because i payed nearly 150$ on the puma home jersey that was released a few months ago. to be honest though, i do think the puma jersey was nicer, especially the numbering and the crest (i got benayoun 15 on the back :p) while these ones are just way too plain.
on the other side, i`m kinda happy we switched to adidas.
maybe its because were number 20 in the world (new rankings released TODAY!). the new kits will be debuted on the 20th against finland.
anyways, i sent the IFA an e-mail voicing my dissatisfaction over the new jerseys, let's see if they'll e-mail me back...

the puma jersey was also plain but i liked it more, i dont like this adidas design. the puma material was also much better. hopefully this jersey isnt up for sale anywhere (like the puma away one), that way i wont be that mad that the jersey i have isn't the one in use, ill just go like "we'll at least i can't buy it even if i want too :p"
any clue what our new away one looks like also? cause i assume this is the home one

i just recieved an e-mail back from the IFA. as i understnd it, the new kit is mainly released due to the new logo, because the old kits had the old one. i guess they decided to upgrade from puma to adidas while at it too, lol. to be honest, i really like my puma jersey, but this new one is starting to grow on me...

    Re: WTF? Israel adidas kit

I noticed the adidas kit when watching the match vs. finland as well...

I'm not sure but if I had to guess I'd say that the national team wears adidas' sponsored kits for friendly matches and puma sponsored kits for official matches...

    Re: WTF? Israel adidas kit

After posting earlier I did some googling. Came across Press Pictures of new Jersey at http://www.football-shirts.co.uk/fans/israel-new-adidas-kits_1570

Article on New Kit Deal and Sponsorship Deal for Israel here http://www.sports-city.org/news_details.php?news_id=5252&idCategory=31

So this is confusing. It looks as if Puma went ahead with new Kit Designs before the IFA re-signed with them and the IFA have now went along with Adidas with the launch of the new IFA Badge. Which I love. So Like the Republic of Ireland badge only blue and with the Star of David designed into the football.

Still confused though, Israel jerseys are hard to buy never mind trying to get this new Adidas Jersey. And what about everyone who just got the Puma Jersey? Now I kind of want both, cause maybe the Puma one will become a Rare Jersey.

Really need this kit, I love it! Maybe being a Chelsea Fan I'am biased because its a similar style of Jersey. Just hope Adidas Distribute these better worldwide than Puma did.

Maybe in Lothar Matthäus' hometown (just 10 km's away from me). ;) Adidas & Puma (both Franconian companies) are based here (with a few outlet factories). It's not that far away from Basel. :)

Well I got it, Real, Authentic, With Benayoun 15 on the back and 15 on the front, beautiful, comfortable... Am i making you jealous?
And yeah, i also really want the new adidas jersey as well, or at least the training jersey, i just love the adidas design. my friend told me he has one (i don't know if its the jersey or the training jersey), he got it while he was in Israel, i'm pretty sure in the adidas store. where else.

Ha ha. Shall I make the 10 km's trip to Herzogenaurach (where Adidas is located) and complain? :) Well, I'm not really a fan of Adidas jerseys in soccer ... so you'd have better signed a contract with Puma (located in Herzogenaurach - Lothar Matthäus' birthplace, btw. - as well)! :p ;)
