This is really an extension of an argument sparked on the "The best thing to come out of the Beckham move" thread ... but today a magazine published figures saying Madrid are a mess financially, despite what president Perez says. He seems - if you can trust the magazine ("Capital") that published the article - to have cooked the books to make thing slook far better than they really are. True? Who knows, but it ties in with the slightly desperate way Madrid offloaded players in the summer.
