Karimi is a technically gifted, offensive-oriented midfielder, although the papers have mused on the Asian Player of the Year's attitude. "I've made it very clear to him that central European football is different from what he's used to. And I reckon he got the point," Magath reported. The coach said he was satisfied with the new arrival after the first session: "He's made a good impression." Nor does Magath think Karimi will have any problem when the squad tackles the infamous Wallberg peak in the Alpine foothills next week. "I reckon he'll get up the mountain with the rest of us." source : fcbayern.t-com.de
Cheers seol, we've been waiting for him to play in europe for around 5 years!! For some reason i think he'll do much better in teh champions league than in the bundesliga. I think after half a season he will be a starter so its all good either way. I think he'll play just ahead of ballack!
The news says Ballack is on his way out, then Karimi could be a good replacement, but Karimi doesnt have Ballacks working ability.
Well, Ballack and Karimi play different positions. Karimi plays center attacking midfield, while Ballack plays center midfield, or even defensive midfielder at times. Ballack's position requires him to do much more running than Karimi, so it does seem that Ballack does work harder than Karimi
Afshin jan , that article was already posted in another thread. But thx anyway btw if u have any news/clip/pics of karimi , please feel free to post em in Karimi Thread
I think this is a new one: http://www.fcbayern.t-com.de/media/images/fotogalerie_05_06/training_130705/karimi_joc_130705.jpg
You'd be surprised on how big one's hand is in proportion to your body, actually. There is no reason for anyone to make fake training pics, anyway (at least I don't think so)
