    not a bad draw for Italian clubs in the 3rd qualifying round:

    Sampdoria got Danish club Aalborg

    Palermo got Czech club Mlada Boreslav

    Empoli got Swiss side FC Zurich

    Fiorentina got Dutch club Gronigen.

    Out of all those draws, Empoli is most likely to struggle. They lack the depth and experiance to balance the Serie A with European football.

    i think italy has a really strong group of teams in the uefa cup, im gonna go out on a limb and predict an italian team winning this years tournament

    i dunno if palermo or fiorentina are quite ready to take down a team like bayern

    Palermo will be coming to Stockholm and playing a local team here, I was hoping it would have been Sampdoria instead. I guess I'll go and see that game at the stadium though.
