    Hey guys,
I just won a trip to Manchester on World Soccer Weekly for next weekend's Manchester derby. I've never been to Manchester before. Any suggestions for good places to go, see, do. Any suggestions also for pre-game/post-game destinations? I may be a Chelsea fan but I always love watch the Manchester derby. Always a crazy atmosphere. Any suggestions would be excellent.

    Thanks,
    -Eddie

Speaking as most likely the only Manc on here, PM me with the details and I'll let you know. OK?

I live now in Frankfurt am Main, but was back 'home' just a month ago.

You lucky bastard! I missed the derby by a few days last March, but did make it up to Manchester and toured COMS. BTW you better be supporting Citeh.

Not vocally or publicly. I'm not going to get killed, all I have for protection is my 115lb fiance!!

But, suffice to say, if SWP was to send it a cross that happend to hit the head of Anelka for a goal, privately, I'd be screaming!

I would LOVE to see another Neville f up or Goater goal though.

You don't have to worry Manure fans..they would probably miss the goal because they'd be eating prawn sandwiches in the box.

    I'm going to the derby.

Me and a few City fans are drinking in Printworks before the game, you're welcome to join us if you like.

Oh and how old are you? If you're up for hooking up with some chicks I'd recommend 21 Picadilly on a Saturday night, I'm always in there. Its dance music and most people in there are City fans. :D

I'm a Manc overseas......from the Trafford borough. I sent him a load of info on the OK places to go to. A pleasant tour of the fine city and where to go drinking in fine bars. ;)

BTW it's City and not Citeh. Are you a United fan in disguise?

Good result. Can't stand Newcastle. City better win tomorrow or there will be trouble for Keegan and the board.

It must be really hard sometimes being half german AND a city fan.

Less of the half-German you! I'm a Manc (kind of) and certainly not quite half German.

Worries me at the moment, the way City lacks consistency (after beating Chelsea), but then again it is a club that has always lived this way.
Frustrating and heavily in debt. Ominous signs.
Hopefully not to follow Leeds, or even worse Fiorentina.

Then again, at least Fiorentina was reborn.

Whenever I think of curries and that part of Manchester, the name seems rather apt.

Oh and if you want to celebrate with city fans if we win after the game I think Mary D's will be open.

    Dear all CITEH fans:

You guys did yourselves proud on Sunday. You guys sang your hearts out and put every Man U fan in OT to SHAME. The whole stadium was quiet except for that corner. Luckily I was only sitting about 10 rows away from your section in the South Stand and Christ was it loud. I especially loved:

    1) USA USA (took me a min to get it)
    2) You only score in a brothel
    3) Robbie Fowler making fun on the Man U fans

I truly think you guys carried your team on Sunday and I was glad to see a group of them come over afterwards...you truly deserved it. I bought a Man City jersey in town for 10GBP and am waiting to get Wright-Phillips on the back this week. You guys were great. I loved you city too. I didn't get too much drinking in before the game unfortunately (I was a little under the weather from being out in the rain in Liverpool all day Saturday!). But I truly felt some Citeh pride on Sunday watching you bring some atmosphere to what looked like would have been a quiet stadium. Thanks for all the tips on where to go, you really helped make our trip a success!!

    -Eddie

You werent that far from me then mate, I was on that elevated section on row 23, was in the ground for 2.45 and wearing a city shirt and scarf, so you might've seen me.

Must've been hard to hold a conversation at HT with us lot going 'Oh when the blues, go marching in... *clapping* Oh I want to be in that number...' :D

Whats your aversion to citeh - I've talked to plenty of City fans from England who use it - its a term of affection... forget the rag bastards

I thought Citeh was the way actual Man City fans say/write it. There is a Man City fan at the pub I watch games at here in Philly and his beanie hat says "Citeh till I die" on the front.
