Well, good for you it is archived on MLSNet... what time stamp do they start the "5 minute" S8 show? Lemme know so I can go str8 there... cuz as I said, I couldn't hear them, and they weren't shown until the last moments of the broadcast.
edit: so I go to 5 minutes before the end of the rain delay, and I see: wide shots of the field with the players warming up.... *all* of S8 takes up about 5% of the screen. Hardly "had the camera on S8".. if i had not known where S8 was in the stands, I wouldn't have even known they were S8 or even Fire fans. The only close shot they had at the end of the rain delay was on a group of Crew supporters (folks wearing Crew jerseys and scarves, featuring a dark haired dark skinned hottie with a nice rack under a wet white shirt jigglin away 1:17:54-1:18:18). The chick with the tits got more screen size (if not screen time) then S8 when S8 allegedly "had the camera."

They did have the camera on S8 at the very end of the webcast (2:28:51-:53 and again at 2:29:18-:31)

As far as hearing S8 goes.. I guess If you knew what the chants were, you could filter out the other noise and hear the melody or tempo of them, but not clearly make out the words. Otherwise, it sounded like usual MLS crowd noise. Because of the position that S8 was in with relation to the stadium, acoustics did not favor them. S8 was too high and not in the focus to be heard clearly on a telecast, even though I have no doubt they were indeed the loudest bunch in the stadium at the time. There is a good reason sound wise to have SGs in the focus of the bowl of a stadium, as close to the ground as possible.

Lets put it this way, we saw alot of yellow jerseys (not crew jerseys) and green jerseys. They found their way to our section or were singing along with us when some of us made our way down to the lower level. Blanco factor helps us again

I hope it helps us in LA on 9/29 when we take on the USA She-goats. Think Monumental will be there? I hope so. I still might be. Now *that* would be an impressive S8 road trip.... C-USA away, S8 joins forces with Monumental to own the HDC.

September 29th in Carson, California, kickoff is at 9:30pm Chicago time, and it is supposed to be televised on Direct Kick and Comcasp Sports Net, as well as a webcast on MLSLIVE.tv
I know there is some sort of Monumental contingency out that way, but have no idea of its size, intent to attend the game, or who to contact to ask about that.

Crew fans want Sigi fired... seeing as how they love to take Fire rejects, should we send them.... um.... you-know-who?? Tee-hee....

Obviously 5 minutes was an exaggeration but if you look at about 1:15, you'll see that the camera zooms in on S8 and scans through the entire section. You can clearly pick out people. It is definitely there for at least a full minute.

Although, wet shirt boobage pics are always welcome.

Yeah, I see that now... but there was no sound. I may have just missed that part (I had just gotten home from work, early as well). As I said before, I missed the entire first half prior to the delay, so I dunno bout that. But from the point I started watching it till the very end, they didn't have the cam on S8.

Seconded and motion carries: when it comes to crowd shots of jerseys, less "Beckham" and more Boobage.

No apologies necessary. I noticed that too.

I didn't hear much of S8 either. Unfortunately, I didn't see the last 30 +/- minutes as my tape ran out.

But more important than all that is 3 points on the road!

Just a hunch, but could that be pre-game?
